This unique course (not available anywhere else) utilises the enormous resources of the internet to offer your students weekly access to English that combines both individual learning with group practise. By empowering students to take responsibility for their individual learning at home,the classroom is transformed into a dynamic space for group interaction,with teachers acting more like a moderator or guide.

The home-study package contains the key components in learning a language; reading, listening,vocabulary, comprehension with the classroom prioritised as a place for practise-for talking. Students may find it helpful to complete the exercises in the order given – i.e. complete Exercise 1 first, then Exercise 2 and so on.

There is a “Student Weekly Diary” on the student’s login page. They should keep a record of their weekly engagement with English and return the diary to you at the end of the course. I’ve also included a diary for teachers and would be very grateful if you’d record your experience while using Immersive English. Finally,thank you for registering on the course, and I’m very much looking forward to reading your comments on our Feedback page on the website.
